South African artist triumphed in the Best New International Act category against such artists as Teniola Apata (Nigeria), Headie (UK), Octovian (UK), Jokair (France) and Nesly (France).

“Limpopo Champions League we did it,” Sho Madjozi wrote on Facebook. “Thank you so much for voting for me.”

(Nigeria) was named the winner of the Best International Act Award. The ‘On the Low’ hitmaker competed against (South Africa), (Nigeria), (Mali/France), Dave (UK), Giggs (UK) and Dosseh (France).

US artist Cardi B took home the Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Album of the Year awards. Other winners Snoop Dogg, Beyoncé, Lil Baby, Migos, Travis Scott and Drake.
