Andre Ayew on his 29th birthday celebrated by scoring a goal on his return from injury as Fenerbahçe threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Erzurumspor in the Turkey Super Lig on Monday.
The Ghanaian footballer, who hasn't played since the 25th of Nov. due to a fractured finger, started the match and was the first to open the scoring for the host in the 18th minute with a very fine header.
The goal was actually his fourth top-flight goals in 14 appearances involving 14 starts since he completed a loan move from English side Swansea City in the summer.
Also, the former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel added a second goal on the 27 minutes before Erzurumspor pulled one back through Emrah Bassan in the second half.
With just a few minutes to end the campaign, Lennart Thy stunned the home side with a beautiful finish to secure a point for Erzurumspor.
