UCC have been declared the overall winners of the just ended maiden African Universities Olympics games in Egypt Cairo. With 10 gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze medals UCC were declared winners of male and female athletes events making them the overall best team of the tournament.Astute University of Egypt placed second with 3 gold medals. Legon and UDS both had 2 gold medals
